Yes, it is.

Initial progress has slowed a bit due to lack of spares availability but so far new front brake pads and hoses, lower ball joints, rear wheel cylinders are all on, just got to source an exhaust, weld the out rigger headlamp mounting panel, errr well that's ALL I can think of at the moment....

Club has some exhausts, but I've only just returned from stores and not planning to go back for 6 weeks or so

I'd appreciate an idea of what's available. Mine should be the twin outlet rear box system but has been changed for the two centre box only type. I've got a new rear "up and over" tail pipe, but it'll need some real welding skill to get the old silencers back to life.

Sorry to hijack this, but I am after a centre twin box exhaust for mine as well.

I've been looking at making something up as well, maybe a PECO twin outlet rear box and suitable adapter to the centre pipe suitably cut to take the rotten second box out of the equation.

I will have a look for exhausts when I'm at the stores on my way to Rootes event at Moffat this weekend.
Cheers.

Did you get the chance to check by any chance?

I'm now looking at having to cancel the test as the old one is significantly worse than I thought

Well, I DIDN'T cancel, instead I used the services of Jetex (www.jetex.co.uk) and got a few bits and pieces to make up a usable system.

Along with a few other bits and pieces, it now has a valid MOT

For the first time in 32 years. This is a GOOD thing

Not the perfect end unfortunately, we only got about 80 miles into it's new life before low oil pressure (despite oil and filter being changed twice) caused rumblings that couldn't be ignored. The big ends have gone
