Hello again Sunbeam Gurus.
Do all Series Rapiers have the shaping in the front wings, about 8" back from the headlight, in the vertical part of the wing, just underneath where the flash/stripe of a series 11 or 111 would start?
The shape is reminiscent of the start of the coloured panel on the original Series 1. And looking at lots of photos, sometimes it's obvious regardless of Series, and other times not. But of course the difference could just be the lighting or the quality of the image/photograph. I ask because the car I recently decided not to buy had inconsistencies in this area. And I want to be better educated for any future viewings.
