There is a nice H120 for sale locally to me (Somerset).

Asking price is £3,000 which on memory of the condition of the car is very reasonable.

If anyone is looking for one or intereted to know more let me know and I'll try to get some more details/photo's etc.

It looks to me as it's an oil gauge on the left of the dashboard.
And below the oil gauge there's a volt meter (I think)

That's all I can say to you, hope this helped.

Best regards Thomas

I like a car thath looks normal but can really knock you off your socks!

Yeh i had to use that on my front door cards in my last fast back as couldnt find black ones.It did work well but is not very scratch resistant and starts to flake after a while

I've used Vinylkote in the past to spray paint a white seat black. It worked well.

I reckon you could find a black interior within the club. I've got a good black rear seat I would consider selling if it helped someone in a fix!!
Carpets you could have made new.

Would it be easy to find a black interior and carpets? As when i had my last fast back it had brown trim. It was hard to track one down back then?

Yeh but would be such ashame to mess about with this one as its as it should be,and if i was paying 3grand i would just want to get in and drive it.
The blue one that sold on ebay was a perfect colour combination with the black trim. I was very tempted with it but also needed a bit of work and ive got 10 cars to maintain as it is. If one came up for a bit lower than this i would have to go and have a look at it as i do want to add one to my fleet

Thanks for email with pics.
If only it had black trim not a fan of the brown but looks a very nice car straight and original

OK folks, here is some more info and a link to the photo's.

Restored by previous owner David Luck who was a Sunbeam Rapier Club member back in the 90's. Photos during the restoration are avalible.

Hi Steve, good to hear from you - I have e-mailed and left Kim voice messages as I know very little about the cars history but there has been no response. He had two H120's left when I bought JEL and said he was going to restore a white one first. To be honest I wasn't that fussed about a H120 I just wanted another fastback but JEL was the best available at the time, never the less I have still spent a fortune on it since I bought it just trying to keep it as good as I can plus some upgrades Kim probably would'nt approve of!, I'm not complaining you can't keep a car like that without looking after it and I do use it every weekend in the summer. She get's comments everywhere we go as any fastback is rare up here in fact we have only seen one since I bought her. I'll throw my tuppence worth in and agree you should get that one back on the road as I think there must be lot's and lot's of fastbacks sat in garages waiting for someone to "get round to it". I call JEL "Jessica" and she has got 60130 miless on the clock now but, as I say I bought it to use it but I do (and spend) my utmost to look after her Regards Etc

thanks for your efforts on this Jason - look forward to seeing the pics.
Could be in AZTEC Gold but then again ther were several golds available. It never ceases to amaze me the amount of body/trim colours available on the fastbacks compared to modern cars - i think the most unusual i have seen was purple (violet?) with matching interior.Could start a new thread on this

OK, I've just spoken to the owners, they will get some more details and photo's over to me ASAP.

It's a gold one with 64k on the clock, a small bit of rust near the lower o/s corner of the windscreen but that's as much as I know at the moment.

Will update when I have more.

Jason.
