There is a nice H120 for sale locally to me (Somerset).
Asking price is £3,000 which on memory of the condition of the car is very reasonable.
If anyone is looking for one or intereted to know more let me know and I'll try to get some more details/photo's etc.

Hi David - not been on the forum long but good to see that my brother's (Kim) former H120 is still in fine fettle.Keep those pictures coming as i never tire of looking at that car! I'm not aware that he's selling his other wardance red H120 which no doubt you would have seen when you bought JEL. It's low mileage and had the engine uprated to 122 bhp by Holbay back in the day and is awaiting light restoration and paint at the moment, which i keep reminding him about!!! We (3 brothers) have all had H120's in the past I owned a 1972 aztec gold back model in the 80's and my twin brother Mark still has his 1970 polar white H120 in the garage with 54000 miles on the clock which again requires a similar type of restoration to bring back to it's former glory.Could post some pics of this one but don't want to hijack this for sale thread!! Good to find a Rapier forum - can only help in promoting these fine cars.
Cheers,Steve |

OK, I've just spoken to the owners, they will get some more details and photo's over to me ASAP.
It's a gold one with 64k on the clock, a small bit of rust near the lower o/s corner of the windscreen but that's as much as I know at the moment.
Will update when I have more.
Jason.

thanks for your efforts on this Jason - look forward to seeing the pics. Could be in AZTEC Gold but then again ther were several golds available. It never ceases to amaze me the amount of body/trim colours available on the fastbacks compared to modern cars - i think the most unusual i have seen was purple (violet?) with matching interior.Could start a new thread on this |

Hi Steve, good to hear from you - I have e-mailed and left Kim voice messages as I know very little about the cars history but there has been no response. He had two H120's left when I bought JEL and said he was going to restore a white one first. To be honest I wasn't that fussed about a H120 I just wanted another fastback but JEL was the best available at the time, never the less I have still spent a fortune on it since I bought it just trying to keep it as good as I can plus some upgrades Kim probably would'nt approve of!, I'm not complaining you can't keep a car like that without looking after it and I do use it every weekend in the summer. She get's comments everywhere we go as any fastback is rare up here in fact we have only seen one since I bought her. I'll throw my tuppence worth in and agree you should get that one back on the road as I think there must be lot's and lot's of fastbacks sat in garages waiting for someone to "get round to it". I call JEL "Jessica" and she has got 60130 miless on the clock now but, as I say I bought it to use it but I do (and spend) my utmost to look after her Regards Etc

Yeh but would be such ashame to mess about with this one as its as it should be,and if i was paying 3grand i would just want to get in and drive it. The blue one that sold on ebay was a perfect colour combination with the black trim. I was very tempted with it but also needed a bit of work and ive got 10 cars to maintain as it is. If one came up for a bit lower than this i would have to go and have a look at it as i do want to add one to my fleet |

Would it be easy to find a black interior and carpets? As when i had my last fast back it had brown trim. It was hard to track one down back then?

I reckon you could find a black interior within the club. I've got a good black rear seat I would consider selling if it helped someone in a fix!! Carpets you could have made new.

| I've used Vinylkote in the past to spray paint a white seat black. It worked well. |
