Anybody seen this before? It's the radiator out of our Humber sceptre MKIII, it has an automatic gearbox, we were removing the engine, gearbox and front suspension last Tuesday when we noticed the radiator had 2 couplings... It is used for cooling the gearbox oil. Does anyone know if it works properly, how it works... and maybe someone has a spare?

Posted - 28 Feb 2012 : 18:51:19 Thanks BigT80 Would you be willing to sell it, and what would you want for it? Ours looks to be in good condition, but needs a bit of soldering to the side panels.

Posted - 27 Feb 2012 : 19:11:12 Yes, that was standard fitting on later Fastback Auto's. Both my '75 Auto's had that arrangement to cool the torque convertor I think. I still have a new rad with those fittings that I never sold when the cars went. Cheers. G. |

It doesn't look like something aftermarket or home made...
