Hi guys. I replaced the original 1600 engine with a 1725 in my ser 3. I am not sure whether I am using the correct dipstick for the 1725 engine , I only had this one. Can someone please verify whether this is the correct dipstick. The total length from the bearing surface on the block to the bottom end in the sump is 236 millimetres.
Thanks 1922, that is a big difference....34 mm Do you perhaps carry knowledge of the correct dipstick for the 1725 straight engines and the slanted engines, would there be a difference ?My engine is still vertical as standard in the series Rapiers.
