Hi, I just bought a series 111a Rapier, needs a bit of work, looking forward to driving it and working on it, seems like it might be an early 111a as it was registered in 01,05,1961 with a low chassis number (61). its been painted before I bought it, so not too sure what lurks beneath, but can see some filler here and there. anyway guess I will find out when I start to take it appart. The interior is in quite bad shape, rear seats dont match fronts, door panels damaged, no carpets, etc. whats it like to find interior parts? or is it a visit to a trimming shop to have things remade? |

Hi, Congrats on your purchase. Interior items do crop up from time to time, club members may be able to help. I obtained a full set of carpets for my SIV from Coverdale Carpets,in north Lancs I seem to remember, cost £180ish a few years back, they weren't a bad fit but needed a bit of adjusting here and there. I also had the seats and door cards professionally re-done but it did cost an arm and a leg.
