Hi Everyone..
I have a badly fitting rogue Ammeter, in my beautiful walnut veneer dashboard.. and I need to replace it..
From my research, I believe it should be a "black-faced Jaeger instrument" but, of course, I cannot locate one anywhere..
Please, does anyone have the correct instrument for sale.. or know where I can locate one ??

Have just managed to identify my present Ammeter (Speedograph) .. it is made for a Bike!!! and NOT for a car, which is why it didn't have the correct fixings and was flopping around...
It seems I may need a Lucas or a Smiths... but I would really like a British Jaeger, if that is what would have been originally fitted in 1966.
Anyone got any ideas... or instruments ??? don't just look, please say something ....

Hi Everyone
have ordered a Smiths ammeter, black face, chrome bezel, closest thing I can locate to original (and we already have one in the TR and it looks very good).
I am happy to consider this topic CLOSED  |
