Daft question I know.

Would anyone have an idea on depth/thread of fastback wheelnuts? Seems daft me popping the old nasty ones back on after the sexy new paintwork.

XJ8, Beach Buggy, ZX9r, ZX6r, BSA Bantam D7 x2 , Gorilla Monkey Bike, Skyteam Monkey Bike , Honda 400/4.....and now I want a H120!

Not a daft question at all.
I know the wheelstuds are 7/16 fine thread (UNF) .I have been looking for longer wheelstuds for a long time, probably will have to have them turned on a lathe.

Use Ford Capri ones - they fit perfectly. Genuine or after-market chrome ones. You can also get locking wheel nuts.

Also - if buying alloy wheels you should be able to get 7/16 UNF nuts from the place that supplies the wheels. I got mine from SCA Race & Rally in Norwich.

I'm using the Avon's at the minute, although some wider ones ( Thanks Jan) are appealing

This might be old news now,

but i found a company who makes a set of locking nuts, i triled some on my H120 end they are lovely!

4x locking chrome nuts with key £7.50
16x ordinary chrome nuts £19.95 (simply remove 1 from each wheel and replace with a locker!)
