There is a 1973 Rapier Fastback for sale currently on Flea bay with only one bid of £1500.This car looks to be a bargain i cannot understand why the owner hasn't put an MOT on it as with that it is worth IMO at least £2750. Because the car was Zeibart rustproofed from new it dosn't appear to suffer from all the usual Fastback rust issues. If i didn't have my Alpine i would seriously consider bidding on this even without an MOT.

Good spotting Balmy! I hope the car is going to a good home and doesnt end up being turned into a boy racing machine. I been wondering where the blue H120 also recently sold on Ebay went. did anyone here buy it? |

George is well. Awaiting a little TLC. A little bodywork to tidy and a new clutch is needed and should be back on the road in the spring. I have taken photo's and will start a thread soon to follow the progress!

Not half as good as slowing by 40MPH while getting phone out and taking a photo in the busy morning M5 traffic!

Patience Dave, all good things and all that!
Should see some good progress over the next couple of weeks all being well. I think my biggest problem will be remembering how it all goes back together!

Tell me about it: I'll see if I can understand my dismantling diagrams: they seemed to make sense at the time, but 11 years on!! |
