Was a pleasure to meet Dave and Martin at the show today and to hear the story behind their cars which both looked stunning on the stand and drew much interest from the public. Well done to you both. Here's some pics from a great day out.

Thanks for some nice pictures Martin. We had a great time on the stand & Martin Bowden (UMU) & i met & talked to some interesting people & hopefully made some new friends. Thanks also to the boys from the Sunbeam Alpine owners club for making us feel welcome. I look forward to making my first visit to powderham castle in July.

The dates for this year's Bristol classic car show were moved so it coincided with 'drive it day' where owners of classics were encouraged to take their pride and joy for a blast.
Thanks probably in no small part to the fantastic weather there were classics as far as the eye could see at the showground as well as a few newer interesting models.
Inside the halls it was nice to see a good selection of different makes and models. This was a vast improvement over recent years where the number and variety of cars attending has steadily been declining. In fact in 10+ years of going to the show this year was probably one of the best.
The club stand looked good as ever and huge thanks must go to Martin and Dave for bringing their 2 excellent cars to display. Dave especially as he stepped in at short notice to ensure we took our full allocation. He even managed to pick up a 'Highly Commended' rosette so congratulations!
Here's a few of my photo's from the day.

Hey guys What can i say?? I was going to put some pics up from the weekend, but there really is no need - the photos already on here are bril and cover the show really well, so well done guys
Having not been to this show before I wasnt sure what to expect, but would now highly recommend it, especially as it has both the cars and the autojumble.
For those of you that i was luck enough to meet, i really appreciated you comments towards the cars and look forward to see you again. The next show i have planned is the powderham show, nr Exeter on 9th and 10th July. This was my debut show with the club last year and as the club members that attend first meet on the friday evening for a drive to the coast and then end with a small tour and meal, Id say its one not too miss.
Cheers
ps anyone who does want to go, if you drop Malcolm Fletcher a line, as he is coordinating it..
