when i purchased the fastback it hadn't had the windows put back in after its body resto, i aquired quite a lot of spares /trims etc with the car & they are all mixed up some might even be alpine

there is a chrome trim along the bottom of the rear window which is riveted onto the body the question is does it have one on the top ?

i have looked at photos of fastbacks but cannot make out a top trim
i have got the windscreen guy on standby ready to fit the glass if anybody can help with close up shots of front/rear/ rear side windows it would be a great help

tia, andyb.

There is trim in the window rubber, stainless on early fastbacks, plastic on later.
But the rivetted on trim is only at the bottom of the screen and covers the air outlets.

Andy, ill try to put up some close up pictures for reference. Be mindful that there are different window seals for early & later fastback. I'll also try to show what I mean on that score!

Not great but here's a picture of the rear side window.

Can't find any decent pictures of earlier fastbacks with window seals that look all chrome, the later ones are rubber with a sealing strip in the centre (hope that makes sense)!
