I have a Series IV and wonder how many of the 9700ish cars built survive.I know the club membership list contains those known to the club but I understand that the number registered with the DVLA can be ascertained,has anyone any idea how that can be done or indeed has a guesstimate as to the number of cars which still exist. This question was posed to me by my French neighbour and it would be nice to give him an answer or at least an educated guess.

There is a website (www.howmanyleft.com) which purports to provide accurate information of extant cars of all makes and models etc. Do NOT take any information it provides as gospel.
