Same result on this reg DVLA vehicle enquiry shows it as not found.

You do this for any vehicle if you know the reg and make.

Generally if DVLA dont show the car as existing, the car was taken off the road before 1987. That does not mean it was scrapped though, it could well be sleeping in a barn somewhere as Derek said in the other thread......
