Well done Ian, a bitter green (code 158) example I believe. What condition is the car in and don't forget the pictures!

Hard to imagine it looking like a Capri from any angle, but kids used to ask me if my 'A' series Opel Manta was a Mustang, so anything's possible if you look at it long enough. Besides who needs a Capri when you have this beauty! Nice car!

Was this Parrot green really an original colour?
Best greetings from the Isle of Arran in Scotland. |

BKJ is Kent Registration during Oct '71 Nice car: not seen it before, although the bonnet badge on the boot does look familiar. Hope you join the club. Our records show it recorded, but with no previous owner. Think I saw it on 'the bay' a couple of months ago. Looks like a very nice car, so well done & welcome to the forum. G |

Hi Ian..... I bought the car off of a guy in Huddersfield and has a different reg'. Also.... it was me that sprayed the doors with the grey primer. It was originally a metallic green car but had been vandalised by a 'rattle can' attack whilst the previous owner had stored it outside for a couple of weeks. Fortunately, other than the spray paint there was no damage to the glass or panels.
Tim.
