Admin folks, is it possible to change the way we post url links in posts. On other forums I use there is an option to insert a link as below;
TAG
Where the LINK is the url and the TAG is the word that appears in the post. I guess you know what I mean but this is a neater way of posting links and keeps lengthy url's off the post.
Just add double quotes around the LINK (url) and it should be OK. See my "What a shame" post in General Chat

Sunbeam Rapier Forum Despite having the appropriate button in the format line this command should work properly, as most users are conditioned with the way JPSH120 has campaigned for. I am a member in more than one forum where clicking on the URL or the image buttons a popup appears and the www-address is then put in and brought in correct format into the posting.

The formatting script is different for most every forum I use but I find 'cut 'n paste' works in all of them. Sometimes you can't beat the simplest ways of posting.
