Did a little bit yesterday but only had a few hours on her.Chopped some more rust out! Trimed the new strut top panel to go in,but while i was there the bulkhead section looked a bit rough and tender so plasma cut that out to To be honest there went much holding it together as it was rusting from both ends.Ive coated it in zinc weld through primer to try keep the rust down between the to skins.

Done a little more today but most the day got took up taking my mx5 for the mot but at least it pased after i turned this:

To this:

And with a bit more work to this:

Now ive got it up for sale

Anyway enough of that back to the fastback. Cut the rot out the strut top and made a new section for the inner section as belive it or not it was rotten to!

Now need to do a bit more chopping and fit my new strut top

Thought I would weld up all the inner flitches and strut tops while ive got the front end off as there is alot more room to get in there.
Think I might take the lump out to so I can bare metal all the inner flitches so there mint as I dont want to be doing this again and want this one to last
