Hi Jan,
Coltec is really bad at answering emails because they get a lot of spam. It is better to phone them or send a letter to them.
I've been to see them many times and - if I can help getting in touch with them - let me know.

thanks Jan,
I'll remember that, but My dad and granddad were restoring our cars far before I was even born! For some 5 or 6 years I've been helping them!
I'm starting to know a lot now,
The mechanical side of the job (apart from the internal engine, gearbox and diff components) I can do all by myself...
The welding is (hopefully) going to be done partially by me and most of it by my dad, if I'm not good enuf by then.

Thomas

I have seen the pictures of your car an it looked like a good complete prosject. The problem is always the rust. spesially if you not are professional car worker or can get some help or good advice from one. I am that myself and know it is not an easy thing to repair rust, if you not have done that before. You can destroy much ad have a bad restoring. It is ver important to have good tools to do a good work. The car have to be as safety as possible too.
Remember it is not allowed to weld steering and wheelparts.
Just ask me if you need advice.
Regards Jan

But the guy from holbay should be able to help you! (the one mentioned in the other post)
I'm now working on my car for a few months, it was in the garage for years but has a lot of rust...
Hope to have it as far as yours somewhere next winter.

I have had this car in about 20 years, bought as a prosject. Never uesd it on the road.
I am going to build the engine as Holbay, bought most of the engineparts from UK and USA. I am now looking for a camshaft.
Happy for any tips.
