EXCUSE ME
I just found out on the Humber Club Dairy: http://www.humber.org.uk/Diary.htm That it is going to be organised at the 17/4/2011 at the Rootes Archive Trust Center, Banbury. http://www.thearcc.co.uk/events.php
This is the middle weekend of the eastern holidays... So we'll probably be there. Hope to see some of you there.
Greetings

Thanks Glen
I'm looking forward to that day... Normally we would go to a Triumph spares day at Stoneleigh. Like we did the last 2 years. But whilst we aren't needing any parts in particular for our triumphs, and a friend of ours, who always joins us, had all ready reserved a skiing trip on the day we'd go to Stoneleigh. So we where searching for an other event which we could attend to... And sunbeam parts are always welcome to me...
Hope to here from the forum soon about the day it will happen...
Cheers Thomas!

So, I immediately went searching on the internet but found nothing about the next spares day.
So here I am, with the question if any of you can give me more information about this. Where and when would be great! Any other info is always welcome.
Many thanks, Thomas

Hi, Just to say there have been Rootes Spares Days in the past; a very good one held at the old Ryton Plant in Coventry a few years ago. We hope to hold one in April next year at the Rootes Archive Trust in Banbury in April. Details will be posted as soon as we have them confirmed. In the meantime Speedies are very good & you can also buy things from the club spares scheme. Agree: a 'Q-Car' is much better than one that looks like it's quick! Cheers. Glen. |

To bad,
We know speedy spares very well! We buy there every year... But at a spares day you can always find stuff you can't buy from a store anymore... And perhaps for a cheaper price...
But anyway, thanks buddy!

Hey buddy
Just to say that ive never heard of such a day in the UK.
The Bath and West classic car shows apparently always have very good auto jumbles, but apart from that, i really dont know.
Good luck
ps are you a club member? Always post a list of parts your after and hopefully someone will be able to help.
Theres also a company called Speedy Spares over here that are fantastic for all parts - check out there websit - not sure what there overseas policy is
