Hi Martin, another one eh? Is it as good or for spares, or perhaps even better than your first one! Glad to hear you've joined the club as well. It can be worth it just for cheaper spares . Hope to see some pics in the not too distant future. All the best. Glen.

Yes, welcome to the forum. I've been absent for a while. Looks to be quite a late one. May '63 was around the time the last of the Conv's were registered. Look forward to seeing the pics. G.

Upload your pictures to photobucket (or similar) and then copy the IMG codes into your post.

Ok,here are two pictures, they are not great as they are taken with a phone camera, its a series 3a convertible chassis and engine no 3065684 registered firstly in march 1963,unfortunately its a non overdrive model,it is in quartz blue.it was imported into ireland about 1997 from the uk,it was traded that year for a mark 11 jaguar from a major collection of a well known business man and car collector here in ireland, where it sat among all types classic machinery including vintage mercedes, riley, model t fords, delage, among others without turning a wheel until i collected it in february, both the collector and the man who traded it are now deceased,so to find some history will be difficult.it was purchased from the son of the collector who kept his helicopter in the hangar where the car was stored, the day i collected it the helicopter was pushed from the hangar so the son could attend a business meeting and we had to wait for it to take off to load the car!!the car seems to be very original, with its original carpets and possibly paint,it needs some tidying, new fuel lines and exaust to start with, will probably have it painted and just general fettling rather than a restoration.Martin (sorry the pictures didnt load, any idea how to do it?
