Hi Glen, thanks for the post, as soon as I looked at the only 2 photos I can find of the car I sort of knew it was a standard car,for some reason I always thought it was a H120, your right, the chances of it still being around are slim, but you never know! all the best Dave

Hi Dave, welcome to the forum. Sorry missed you Sunday at BCCS, got there about 3.00 to collect the kack-hander!
Interesting thread on past Rapier. Sounds like it was scrapped before the DVLA did any follow up on un-licenced vehicles & scrapyards did not have to provide disposal details to them. Slim chance it has survived, but unlikely I'm afraid. From description it is/was a 'Standard' car. Cheers. G.

Ah so it could well have been an H120 then, can you tell from the photos?

There is a decent looking fastback for sale here;

And FYI, if you click on 'reply to topic' at the foot of the page you won't get all the previous words included

I've got a fastback of nearly every year except F! I've even got one of the last "R" reg ones! (but that's quite beyond repair.)

F is indeed an early car, isn't Martin Bowden's on an F too?

Yes I think you're right. That would make it a very early fastback, I only know of 1 other F plate car.

Hi Jason, thanks for the reply, good to meet you on sunday,your car is a credit to you, lovely job. As I said on sunday I learned to drive in my dad's rapier, I was sure it was a H120, but, got my mum to look out some old photo's and looks like the reg is telling me different. ULF 459F. That makes it a 67 car, and if i'm right is that too early for a H120? Could that car with that reg still be around? regards Dave

Hi all, went to the car show at the Bath and West on Sunday, spoke to a guy called Jason who had a lovely Holby fastback on display which was a credit to him, unfortunately it wasn't for sale, but if anybody has one for sale or knows of one for sale I am looking to buy, in good condition or worse! regards dave
