Yes, welcome Brian. I know you've been working hard to TDU, a little faster progress than some of us on here, but we'll get there. Look forward to seeing some pics in due course.
Cheers.
G.

Greetings from New Zealand. I am Brian Baylis, the owner of TDU258H now being restored to it's former glory. Some of you may remember the car as it has been owned by several club member and won a class prize at Belvoir in 2006 at the hands of it's last UK owner. I first saw the H120's when I was in England in 1968 but could not afford to stay long enough to buy one as I already had an export tax free Imp Sport that needed to leave the country. This H120 I bought in July 2010 and expected to use it for a month on holiday and then ship it home but fate intervened and it left early and I used a loaned Imp from a friend instead.

On arrival in NZ the car was not quite up to standard and for the past four years has been undergoing a major bare metal rebuild, some photos of which have already been published in the magazine. It is nearly ready for compliance checking once I sort the electrics as at some stage there has been a Lucas event (short circuit) affecting the clock earth return. The deadline for roadworthiness is 1st February, in time for Intermarque Concours, NZ's premier classic car show.
