I was quite surprised to see my Sunbeam Rapier 1V 1965 in the spring edition of Cut & Thrust after recently having completed a ground up restoration. It took longer than expected with only working on it the odd hours here & there apart from having hospital treatment.
The car is driving very well and having passed local inspection with flying colours locally here in Jersey, Channel Islands. Close friends previously called it Polly as being short for Polyfilla but is a smart boy now. the car is back in its original colour of Goodwood Green Metallic but now with a Black roof & bearing its Jersey registration number J 8321 since its inspection.
The Humber Sceptre MK3 belongs to my wife and the Vauxhall Cresta PA is my brothers
