Yes the manual and automatic are both the same. The hole in the carpet where the gear lever passes through might be different but that is hidden by the centre console.

Hi thanks for the help there re the carpet , I tried them but they only have a carpet pattern for the automatic and I dont know if the gearbox tunnel is the same as the manual , if you think or know that the carpet pattern will fit my car I will go ahead and order the carpet from coverdale, they would not manufacture the carpet and send it till I find out if the centre console is the same in the auto and manual .this is my first sunbeam rapier so its all new to me , I havent owned a classic car since the 90s so its a bit of a learning curve again .i was quoted £236 for wessex wool or £307 for kensington wool range with £9 delivery charge.

Hi, everyone just a short note to say ive bought a 1974 rapier h120, its orange with polished wolfrace alloys the bodywork and chassis is solid no welding required, im in the process of tyding it up , it has sat of the road on sorn for a few years in a dry garage. I have freed of the brakes so it moves, result. I have replaced all ignition components leads 8mm, plugs champion, lucus high performance coil, distributor cap rotor points and condensor new battery as well, the twin 40s have been stripped and cleaned so hopefully when I get back down during the week it will fire up, interior wise it needs a new carpet , any info on where I can buy would be appreciated, also I would like the stainless steel sill covers .the regstration plate is psc417m. Any info on car would be greatly appreciated, I think its a edinburgh plate , I live near stirling in central scotland so I think it might have been up here all its days its just a guess. Oh iv still to check out the electrics lights dont work etc etc . Cheers stuart
