Hi Folks, I wonder if anyone out there has a H120 radiator badge that they could be persuaded by an amount of the Queens currency (or threats or blackmail!) to part with?.

Hello John,

Before you go to all that trouble, and as a Club member, I'd suggest you get in touch with the Club's Series Rapier Registrar, Mike Langley.

You never know, he might have one 'up his sleeve'.

See:- http://www.sunbeamrapier.co.uk/spares.html for Mike's telephone number and his email address.

Regards,

Tony.

Hi all.
I want to restore the boot plinth on my Series IV as follows;
remove flaking chrome and grind out pitted areas with a Dremmel.
treat rusted areas with rust converter
fill pitted areas with fine filler
prime and finish with 'chrome' spray

I know having it stripped and rechromed would be better but I'm in France and finding someone to do it will be very difficult.

Any comments on this or better ideas would be welcome.

Thanks in advance
John C
