Hello, Welcome to the forum. Glad to hear that you would like a Fastback Rapier: not too many around in France. There did used to be a member in the northern central region with one, but not heard of it for many years. You might get lucky, there are a few 'Series' owners in France who are on this forum.
As far as I know the sunroof was never a factory (original) option. Rumour has it that there was concern some strength could be lost by opening up the roof on a pillar-less design. Webasto ones were probably better quality than a Britax one - they should have stuck to making seat-belts .
I have a LHD registered in the UK, but it has been off road since 1976 & I am still trying to re-commission it! Cheers. G.

Hi, I saw 4 lhd rapier in France last month and I will soon move on my project ... Strangely, I saw two automatic gearboxes .... My choice is not yet decided on the car because they are all rusty .... especially at the underbody and front wings ...
First question is do we still wings and underbody?
Second, is that someone already change only the automatic transmission without changing axle???
I saw this link on the internet, you know??? the remanufacture are???
Thank you in advance next time and perhaps photos of the car!!

I have a car here that would probably be ideal for you. The only panel that needs replacing is the rear valence, but cannot be driven legally, so would have to travel on a trailer. When I wrote the post I was meaning to buy a car that is road legal here and drive it home.

It will be more expensive to buy a car that you can drive home than one like the one I have, but will cost less to transport on the ferry.

Car looks great and I think that is cedar green metallic which is what my H120 started life in, I've never seen another fastback that colour and have to say it is very smart! Well done.

Nice find Didier.... looks a very solid car. Looks as though someone has taken the badges off the car deliberately as the lions are also missing off the 'C' pillars too I notice. Easy things to replace though. I have some here you can have that I took off my project car if you want them.

Nice car!!

Not sure what condition they are in, as I wasn't planning to put them back on the car when I took them off. I'll take a look over the weekend and see what they are like. Is no point me sending you ropey ones, but you can have them if they are good.

Found the badges, but the roundel for the bonnet is poor. The chrome is good but the emblem under the perspex is hardly visible. The lions are ok, but I notice that they are not painted the same as the one on the console.

Can take a pic of them if it helps. Don't want anything for them as I said earlier, but don't want to disappoint either.
