Hello everyone.
I'm about to start a full restoration on my latest purchase, a1972 Hunter GLS. I've been after one for several years and finally tracked one down last month.
Apologies in advance for any stupid questions that may follow!
Regards, Daniel

I don't know about concourse, but I hope to have very good car when finished.
It will have a full respray including the engine bay and boot. A full suspension/brake/fuel system rebuild. Stainless exhaust system. Re chrome the bumpers and door handles if I can't find new ones. Possible engine rebuild depending on its condition.
It does need some welding in the usual Hunter places, sills, outriggers and the front floor pans but this was to be expected.

Hi Daniel and welcome to the forum.
It's great to hear from another Holbay follower and it will be nice to see the car given a new lease of life.
As has already been said there is a wealth of information on this forum despite it's humble following!
Please keep us posted with photo's which may also serve as motivation for some of us to get a move on with our own resto's!!
Oh and FYI - you may experience some GLS envy from some of us who have hankered after one for a while...
