In 1972 we drove down through Norway from Finland via Nordkapp (North Cape) to Kristiansand in an estate version of this car on our way home from Moscow!!:-
I have a superb speeded up 16mm film of the sun taken looking due North at Nordkapp through midnight on the 20th/21st of June that year and film of our Humber exiting the tunnel on Magerøya. In those days there was a single track unsurfaced and unlit tunnel on Magerøya and a ferry between Honningsvag and Repvag, not the modern tunnel to the Norwegian mainland.
Hi Here are more Sunbeam stuff from Norway. Link to the Rootes car club in Norway http://www.rootes.no/. You maybe can not read the text, but pictures are ok to look at.
Hi Yes Norway is a fantastic country to travel. The north of Norway, whitch I was born, I think is the best part of it. I bicykled a part of the north in the summer(650 km) and had many fantastic moments.
