I bought a H120 badge of e-bay yesterday, I dont even know if it's for the wing or the radiator which is what I want it for - the seller say's the three fixings at the back are OK but I'll have to see what arrives, I may have to drill it out but Glen has some inserts if I do. I suspect that some of you blaggards out there (Jason?) made me pay a lot more than I wanted too for it, still as my nan used to say "might as well be skint as have nowt"!!,I'll bet the seller can't believe his luck he got 3 or 4 quid for the other old car badges he was selling,
Regards Etc

I wouldn't dream of doing such a thing! I was watching it to make up a spare pair but the price put me off. We should all disclose our ebay id's so we don' t bid against each other. BTW the 3 pin badge is for the grille.

Hi Jason, I wouldn't blame you if you did, I agree with the principle about not bidding against each other but what happens if two of us want the same thing?. Thanks for the info regarding the three pins at least it's the one for the grill so I suppose it will fit somehow. I did ask somwhere else in the forum how BJU is doing I was hoping to hear you where whizzing round Somerset in it by now, no dissapointing sebacks I hope,
Regards Etc

Well generally I bid on things that I would be happy to win at the right price but very seldom desperately need them! I have a fair stash of bits so rarely see something that I haven't already got. The badge is a simple fit as long as it has the little clamp that attaches at the back.

No hold ups with bju per say, its just slow going as ideally I need to push the car outside to work on it but have to fight with the weather all the time.

Am in no major hurry would just like to have it ready for next spring, fingers crossed!

Little clamp at the back? mmmmm, there is always a problem eh?, maybe Glen will have one - if not it's Heath Robinson again, I was hoping it would be a case of finding some little nuts but that would have been to easy! Thanks Anyway

David, tried to take some photo's for you so you can see what i mean. For clamp read bent bit of tin, it just holds the badge against the grille slats, hopefully you can make it out from this (not the greatest photo's as my grille is under a pile of bits!);

Hi Jason thanks for taking the time to help me I appreciate it, things are much clearer from your photo's - presumably the threaded stud is fixed to the badge so I'll only need to find a nut and knock up some sort of backplate, I'll get a new insert from Glen for the front and I'll be in business - so once again many thanks
