I see from this morning’s news that E10 petrol is going to be ‘the norm’ from 2021 despite all the representations from the classic car industry. It is not good for the health of our cars (or indeed any petrol car made before 2000) due to the high ethanol and water content. Apparently the current E5 unleaded will remain available at some larger petrol stations but i suspect it will all be a repeat of the leaded/unleaded problem.
