Hi all,
I have a 1725cc engine with a head which has combustion chambers modified to Holbay shape and propose to fit a Weber 28/32 carb and electronic ignition.I and am wondering what the best spark plug choice would be, Bosch,Champion,NGK

Hi again,
I just noticed an error in my first post, the carb is a 28/36 DCD.
I don't know if the choice of carb, head and ignition are relevant to spark plug choice, but would rather get the best ones for the job.
Regards
JohnC

I'd go for a standard one like a champion N9YC or example and see how it performs. In my Alfa I have had to put the hottest plug temp I could get to cut down deposits, but I only found out that they were the right plug by experimenting.

For my fastback (high lift cam, twin webers and electronic ignition) I used standard grade Champion (N9YC?) and NGK (BP6ES I think) with no problems, though the NGKs seem to last longer and are a bit more reliable.

Yes; I'd agree BP6ES' from NGK. They run a bit hotter & for Holbays used to stop them fouling up as much as the N9Y's. I think they have a different suffix now, but are still something like BP6's. Cheers. G.
