Hi there,
I've just registered for the forum as I have a couple of items for sale.
Due to a recent bereavement we have found a complete engine and gear box taken from a Sunbeam Rapier. The car from memory was an M reg, so I guess around 1973 ish. The engine and box were removed as the body was rotten and they were in good working order, this was around 1983/4. The intention was to reuse them, however this never happened and they have remained at the back of a garage since then.
The engine looks complete with carbs and exhaust manifold and all other ancilaries. The mileage is unknown.
The items are located in Derbyshire, if they are of any use to anyone, I am open to offers.

Hi, Lot of boxes about (not too many H120 ones though) should be able to find someone who wants engine. A bit far away for me. Can you get engine no. off of the block? Not easy to see, but on flat plate just ahead of dizzy. Would help to identify what it came from and for club records for what car got scrapped.

Righto, it's going to be three weeks before I can get any info with regards to the engine No.
Ian, I will send you the phone No of the owners in a couple of weeks when they are planning to be back in the area. I trust that is ok with you?
