Hi everyone,
Let me introduce myself, my name is John Simpson and I own two Sunbeams, a 1964 Rapier Series IV & a 1966 Alpine V GT, I've had the Rapier for almost 4 years after buying it, sight unseen off eBay!, the Alpine has been mine for 33 years, I paid £150 for it in 1981, although it did require a lot of work!
I'm a self employed mechanic, specialising in the service, repairs & restoration of classic cars. I'm also a freelance writer & 'Chief Mechanic' for Practical Classics magazine.

| hi john, i have been getting p/c since it started.and have followed it ever since ,i have noticed you have got some of rootes finest,i am on my 3rd fastback, this latest being a h120 picked up yesterday.any way welcome keep up the good work.ian |
