Posted - 12 Aug 2015 : 20:34:15 Hi Tony...... had a feeling that I'd messed up on the number but getting the colour wrong is inexcusable really. My partner thinks I need to go to Specsavers and she's probably right, but it all happened very fast as I wasn't expecting it.
Looks a fine specimen you have there, you must be sad to be moving it on. I know Clayton Le Moors very well. Went out with a girl who had a flat overlooking the park about 30 years ago.

Posted - 12 Aug 2015 : 00:00:43 Well now! Shows you never know who's out there! On Friday 31st July I was returning to Clayton le Moors in 655 UXV from Keighley around that time, having had the exhaust manifold gasket sealing ring (kindly supplied by our Mike Langley) replaced by a good friend from the Jowett car Club who has a garage there. Yes it is velvet and sage, not blue, and shortly she will be advertised for sale on this site, before opening it up to the wider public. I'd welcome a visit from 'arrocuda'. Tony.

Posted - 02 Aug 2015 : 18:42:05 Might not be as well spotted as I thought as I was turning left off the A6068 when I saw it coming toward me but despite slowing down as best as the traffic would allow I had to turn before it came past me. Pretty certain I got the reg' number right, although the chances of two cars beginning 655 is making me doubt it now.

Posted - 02 Aug 2015 : 14:22:45 Well spotted! Not listed anywhere in our records. Only 655 UXV which is velvet & sage, but does come from the Lancs area. Cheers. G. |
