Hello there

My dad back in the mid 80s bought this Rapier Fastback from its original lady owner, it was a car he owned for a couple of years ( one of the cars he’s ever owned for longer than the usual year!
It was terqoise in colour, stunning in the sun, and made a lasting impression on me as a lad of 10!
He sold it in 85 as the dreaded rust was starting in the Sills, the car was immaculate other than that. Iv looked on dvla site, and when he sold it it’s never been registered since, a very long site it may exist somewhere? I’d love to know what happened to it.

It’s made be want one of my own now.

Also a chap called Mike who lived around the corner to me in Cardiff had quite a collection of Rapiers back then, and always was messing about with them. He did have at one time believed to be the last Rapier Built. I can remember it was White, and in quite good condision back then. I wonder if he is still a club member today?

M stokes
