Posted - 18 Sep 2012 : 21:39:56 Hey guys
If anyone has or knows how to get a rear valance for a fastback id really like to know, as my cars in the garage for rust repair to this and the whole thing has gone so im now stuck.
Ive seen the one on ebay, but think the seller is being cheeky and then some asking that price.
Any help would really be appreciated
Cheers

Posted - 03 Oct 2012 : 14:18:40 Just thought id give an update. I've just been to see the car and the valance is on.
I would recommend the company who made this as they have used a thick steel and it went straight on.
Also in my mind i did the right thing by not getting the one on eBay and instead supporting a company to keep the moulds etc going. I Its so tricky to keep these old dears going i don't think its right for second hand parts to have a big price tag and hope you'll agree that if we start supporting these speculators were going on a one way street.
Cheers guys

You could have spent £5.00 more and got a genuine one if you purchased the ebay one

Posted - 19 Sep 2012 : 18:50:37 Hi Martin, Yes as Andy says Express Steel Panels did a reasonable one, but sometimes the way companies pressed formed them means they are not that good and need quite a bit of dressing to get them to fit and look right. The club has one such valance left if you get desperate! Cheers. G. |
