Hi all. I have read that the filler cap (fastback) can't be chromed easily. Can anyone dispel that rumour and recommend a place to use?

Alternatively if anyone has a good filler cap they are willing to part with please let me know.

Cheers.

Think I've got a reasonably decent cap with new seal of course. I'll try and have a look over the weekend.

I reckon Ashwater down in Devon would be prepard to do all the fiddly work. I've made enquiries in the past and you're right, chrome-plating people seem to be reluctant to do these due to construction and the poor metal they're made out of.
