Posted - 08 Nov 2011 : 09:47:48 Hi Can anyone help me to get new nuts to the connecting rod to my Holbay engine prosject? I have sent mail to Rootesparts, but they dont answer. I also need new springs to the distributor. I have Holbay distributor without vacum. Regards Jan |

Posted - 11 Nov 2011 : 11:58:19 Coltec don't keep them in stock but can get them special order. Coltec say that the factory nuts and bolts are very high quality and don't cause problems. But you must tighten the nuts to the correct torque, then loosen them and then torque up twice.
Speedy Spares have plenty in stock - they are only £3.60 for a set and about £2 postage to Norway. I need some nuts too - I can order both sets and you can send me the money. Let me know if you want to me do to this (we can sort out the details by email).
