Posted - 18 Mar 2013 : 12:57:54 I currently have a template for a Series II Convertible Hood.
I am thinking, if there is enough interest to supply the hoods to Series members. The hoods will be oversized as I will be cutting the patern from an original patern. The stud fastners and other fittings will not be included, so the owners will need to supply and fit these themselves.
I am not sure if this template will fit other Series cars.
Your comments would be appreciated.

Posted - 19 Mar 2013 : 15:47:29 Anything remanufactured to help keep these machines is a good thing. Would it help to have o/e drawings? The Rootes Archive Trust may be able to find and supply copies of the drawings, but many of the units they (the drawings) are kept in, have been put into 'deep storage', so it is not a definite that they'll be able to find them, but might be worth a shot? Cheers. G. |
