hello there, it was me that bought it, i had no idea of "value" so i put a bid on it as id never seen one for sale, im looking to sell it to get the money back as i dont think im going to need it, there has been a poorer condition one on ebay recently which is probably where mine will end up. i have two (poss 3) new air filters with it 07947632976 rgds paul

Yes, those later filters are poor: you loose 2 or 3 BHP with that set up. They used it on the later Sunbeam Ti too, for cheapness. As J says: better with the remote air cleaner and box or re-jetted with K&N's or similar.
Cannot believe someone paid 3 figures for it  . Must want it for originality I guess. G. |

Don't know who the seller is/was mate.
That's strong money but a rare item I guess.
You'd be much better off though finding the saucepan air filter housing and orange fibreglass air box.
