Hello all,
I was a member of this club many years ago when I owned a factory black 1972 rapier fitted with a Holbay engine (not an original H120 I'm afraid). I have owned two of these interesting cars in my time the other was a 1970 Rapier South African import in white (Rushed into the purchase of this one at £800 and a lot of filler in the front wing due to accident damage also has nasty aftermarket chrome wheels). I cant remember the reg of the white one (but I did see it on ebay about six or seven years ago). The black ones reg was FBH 764K. I have checked on the DVLA web site and I was the last to register the care back in 1994 ! Sold it to a bloke in Wigan I think...
Anyway, I have the bug again and I am currently looking for a fine / fine-ish example (but would consider something not to far gone) . Preferably a H120 (Yes I know, isn't everybody). I have a realistic budget and would welcome any leads / pointers to cars for sale.
(I will try and find some pictures of my cars to post)
Chris

Very rare in black.... you should have hung on to that one.

Building the 'Mark II' fastback Rapier ('Arrocuda').

What would be a good price for a condition 2 H120 these days ? (My Practical Classics price guide from November 2011 states £2850 for a condition 2 care and £3500 for a condition 1) I take it prices have gone up a little.

Values have indeed gone up, have a look here;
