Posted - 09 Oct 2012 : 23:59:55 Hi everyone. Just getting back into the fold. Having had an H120 for 30 years or so that hasn't seen the light of day for more than 10 years at the very least and also owning another fastback the was an impulse ebay purchase - come on, we've all done it, I'm now making a concerted effort to get one of them back on the road. The children are now at an age where they can help me and offer some logical advice to problems that would leave me scratching my head. |

Posted - 13 Oct 2012 : 01:29:56 At the moment the H120 is buried in the garage and is in a very sorry state. On the upside, the standard F/B fired into life this evening after a bit of fetling. I looked at the tax disc and it expired this very month in 2006 - and there was me thinking it was about 3 years ago. I'd forgotten just how good the exhaust note was of cars from the Rootes / Chrysler stable. Even my Avanger sounded good compared to my mates Escort back in the 80's - or as I should say now "back in the day". Just need some tyres and I'll take a chance on putting it up for it's MOT. |
