Posted - 16 Dec 2010 : 18:34:48 Hi everybody. My name is Mark Reader and i am the Fastback Registrar. Having been a member of the SROC since 1985 i guess i had better get with the program which is why i have joined the forum (plus it's 'GOOD TO TALK'). Currently i own NAD 77F which is the earliest surviving fastback that we know of..EH GLEN? The chassis number is 209 which means she is very early. She has a couple of features which i (and Glen) have never seen on any other fastback. My association with the Rapier fastback goes back to my childhood. My dad had five all told. I have almost finished writing an article for the mag which will tell all. I have been reading some of the topics and they are very interesting. I will try and post a photo of the old girl a.s.a.p. Cheers all |

Posted - 17 Dec 2010 : 18:58:31 Thanks Martin, you are a star.
OK so the phantom NAD is real. She is fitted with sundym glass (except the windscreen and quarterlights 1. because i didn't have a windscreen at the time and 2. because the designers altered the quarterlight mounting holes but i do have the sundym q/lights so may fit them on a rainy day or a SNOWY one |
