Hi all, I bought my beautiful looking Rapier last July, as usual with my heart and not my head, and have spent the last few months changing it from a rolling death trap into a useable, and safe, vehicle.
I've owned and worked on various classics both pre and post war since I was about eleven or so (fifty years ago now!) with my brother so I should know better than to buy dodgy cars, but it has given me the skills and experience to repair them after I get them home and find what I've really bought!
I'm very much enjoying driving the Rapier and apart from a few issues, it's where I need it to be. That is, able to be used as a regular car.
Thank goodness for Speedy Spares, Alpine Spares, eBay, Simply bearings and Mike Langley for good suggestions when I've been a bit stuck!
See you on the road! Jeremy Shaw. Leigh on sea, Essex
