Having lapsed ownership of a series Rapier, or any Rapier for that matter, For about 53 years, I have just secured a ownership of a
Well known series 3 coupe club car in red/cream. Previous
Owner 40 years, so looking forward to being the new custodian.
It will enjoy a new life as transport on Sunny days on the island of
West Mersea near Colchester in Essex. Be interested to hear of other Rapier owners in the area or on the island. My previous car was a 1960 series 2 also in red/cream with if I remember correctly, the 4 small instruments raised above the dash in a pod ? But no overdrive fitted.
Anyway if your in the Essex area a drive out to West Mersea is worth
The effort. Trevor

Hi mate,
I'm fairly near you down in hullbridge near Rayliegh, I've got a fastback now but in 1972 I owned a s111 and a s111a with a Jack Brabham conversion on it, the s111 was also red and cream.
Steve.
