Posted - 13 Mar 2016 : 10:31:15 Hi, This my Fastback I've had her about 12 months and I think HEW 805F was owned in the past by a club member from the Cambridge area. Still with only 32500 miles on the clock and standard except for the addition of period rear fog and reverse lights. Great car to drive and didn't expect the level of interest people show in her. Planning on going to the Spring meeting.

I'm in London. Is the AGM as far West as Cartgate?

Ill copy this post into the relevant folder.
Hope that helps.

Just a quick question when is the AGM? I seem to have mislaid my magazine.

Jason thanks for the link. Is the room at the bath and west show for mine?

Posted - 17 Mar 2016 : 10:12:22 Hi Graham, Welcome to the Forum & the club. Yes, that car used to come to a lot of events in the 1980's & had about 17k on the clock when owned by Roy who lavished a lot of care on it to keep it looking good. It is Turquoise Metallic I think. It is of course quite an early car, so has probably got the nice touches early cars had - e.g. front arm-rests that go upward to a pointed finish & rubberised rear trims that do not distort as badly as the hardboard/hard plastic ones of later cars. Lots of other details that were deleted after a couple of years to save money I guess. It will be good to see it again at the Spring Meeting. Cheers. G! |

Only one confirmed in the diary at the moment is the Footman James show at Shepton Mallet.
This page shows some of the events being held in the south west, I will attend some and provide details in due course.

There are also several other events that I will provide details for.

Nice car. It looks just like my Pathfinder model in that colour. I like how the white walls compliment it too.
I want to make the AGM but its a day before my end of year exam at uni.
Jason let me know of any shows...

Posted - 14 Mar 2016 : 09:12:33 Hi Graham, welcome to the forum.
Nice looking car you've got there. You will find that is does attract a lot of attention wherever you go. They are a rare sight nowadays but many people have memories of them, either from personal ownership or otherwise.
I'm also hoping to attend the spring meet so look forward to seeing you there.
