Retired about 10 years ago purchased a series 1 sunbeam alpine, kept it for 3 years, then purchased a sunbeam 90 saloon selling this 3 years later. The next car I changed marques and brought a early vauxhall viva hb sl90 this I recently sold. I have now returned to Roots and purchased a Series 3a Rapier that appeared in the 2013 spring edition under a ( a challenging Project).I picked the car up from Cardiff a drove it 150 home well almost, it stopped 12 miles short petrol problem, eventually getting home on a low loader, The car is now undergoing a partial refurbishment, which I hope to complete in the new year
