Hi I am in NewZealand and have always wanted a Rapier since the mid 60's when I had 58 Gazelle with all the goodies (twin 40DCOE's,o/drive, lowered etc. In the early 90's I brought a Fastback but it was not the Rapier I have always wanted so it was sold after 12 months. In 2004 I brought a nice straight series 5, it had a windscreen leak. I took the screen out resealed, next rain it leaked. All the area under the screen was rotted out. Then the paint started to bubble, it was rusting away under many many coats of spray bog. I stripped it to find more problem areas so it was put away in the garage and I forgot all about it till recently when I got Remotivated and started to get back onto it.
