Posted - 08 Nov 2012 : 08:54:13 Another f/b Alpine on ebay only this one's an M120!! The relocation of the Reg' plate on to the boot lid so as to accomodate a tow bar looks awful. (This must be why it's the rare M120 version)!
Not sure it's a necessary relocation cos back in the 70's, when I had an interest in power boats, a friend of mine used to tow his ski boat behind his Rapier, and although I can't remember the actual tow bar set up, it certainly didn't look as bad as that.

I've got a spare boot lid here and I'm tempted to offer it to the guy for free... just to put it right! Almost forgot to ask if anyone knows what an 'M120' is?

Posted - 08 Nov 2012 : 17:36:07 I think to describe that car as stunning is a
usually pictures can make a car look better but in this case......
The trader descibes the respray as a little flat & in need of some laquer, looking at the pictures i would say there's evidence of poor repairs. Under the bonnet looks ok though The interior colour dosen't seem to go with the exterior colour & i'm not sure about that vinyl roof. Oh well at least it's tax free
