Hi Guys
I may be forced to sell my Alpine Fastback so am putting on here first for any body that would like to make me a sensible offer for a very good condition Fastback.
Before my ownership the car was given a full restoration in 2001 & i have photos & receipts to prove. The bills totalled over £10,000.
The car is a 1971 Alpine Fasback in Tahiti Blue, it has the rare high back seats & has had a Rapier dash board conversion.
Overdrive is fitted as well as twin Strombergs.
A stainless exhaust was fitted recently.
Any one who has seen this car can vouch for its condition, however it is not in concours condition being as it is an older restoration.
MOT until July 2013, Tax (historic) until July 2013.
If you want more details or would like to discuss a possible offer then call me on 07966319002 or email daveboulton1@virginmedia.com
Here are some recent pics.

By the looks of it you found a buyer with no problem, which is testament to how good your motor was.

Its been a pleasure fastbacking together, but I totally understand things change.
Hope to see you around buddy and at bath and west if not before.

Bloody hell Dave that must have been gut wrenching for you but it sounds like it will be well looked after. I hear you loud & clear re the H120, if you find yourself missing the fastback too much you can come and give me a hand!

Well guys it was with great sadness that i waved goodbye to my Alpine Fastback today.

The car has gone to hopefully a good home in the Bradford area.
It has been bought by a guy who already has a Sunbeam Tiger & is an enthusiast. I believe it his intention to join the club.
I will still be around the classic car scene with my Manta & will be at the 2013 Bristol Classic Car show with the Manta club stand.
I will keep in touch on this forum & hopefully will see Jason & Martin at various West Country car shows during 2013.

Jason get that H120 on the road for spring 2013, you know it makes sense

Wow Dave your alpine really looks nice!
Lovely engine bay!
Sorry to hear you might have to sell her...

Just a question how did they get the steering wheel that nice?
Is there a way to take of the inlays and put them back after paint?
